Iraq Attacks Kill Dozens
Nearly three dozen people were killed and more than 100 wounded in a string of explosions across Iraq on Thursday, including attacks in Baghdad and Kirkuk.


Series of Iraq bombings kills 30
The blasts, which hit Baghdad and northern cities, leave nearly 100 wounded. Half of the bombs strike security forces and government officials.Bombings struck several areas in Baghdad and to the north Thursday, killing at least 30 people in the first major attacks in Iraq in nearly a month. The violence stoked fears that insurgents were trying to undermine confidence in the Shiite-led government amid rising sectarian tensions.


At least 36 killed in 20 bomb blasts in Iraq
More than 20 bombs hit cities and towns across Iraq Thursday, killing at least 36 and wounding more than 100, police and hospital sources said.
